Mutton Bunny Chow

Bunny Chow originated in Durban's Indian community. It remains one of South Africa's most popular and signature fast food or street food. Bunny Chow is simply a hollowed-out bread bowl filled with a spicy and aromatic curry of your choice. The bread bowl is created using a ¼ or ½ loaf of bread and removing the centre portion. Create your own authentic Durban Bunny Chow using our ready-to-use Durban Oriental Mix Masala (for any filling of your choice). We filled our bunny with Mutton Curry prepared with our Pride of India Durban Oriental Mix Masala.
