Not only are tacos healthy, but you can prepare a range of delicious fillings. Our Chicken Tacos were prepared with our Pride of India Medium Curry Powder.

Serves 4.
Chicken Tacos


  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • 3 tsp Pride of India Medium Curry Powder
  • 1 tsp ginger & garlic paste
  • 4 medium chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • spring onions, finely chopped for garnishing
  • cucumber, sliced into strips for garnishing
  • 8 tortilla tacos (soft or hard)
  • salt
  • water


  • Heat oil in a pot. Sauté onion until golden brown.
  • Add Pride of India Medium Curry Powder and ginger & garlic paste. Mix and fry for approximately 1 minute. Add a little water, if necessary.
  • Add chicken and cook for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Season with salt. Add a little water. Let the chicken cook until tender. Reduce the water until you have achieved your desired consistency.
  • Lightly toast your tortillas for about 10-15 seconds (only if using the soft tacos).
  • Add your chicken filling and garnish with spring onions & cucumber.
  • Enjoy with sides of veggie sticks, fruit sticks, guacamole, salsa, dips or side salads.
